Preview: AEW Dynamite – October 8, 2024

The October 8, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite presents a special ‘Title Tuesday’ edition, taking place at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. Unlike the usual Wednesday night format, this episode will be held on Tuesday to showcase exciting title matches and segments.

Featured Matches:

The highlight of the show is a “Match of Champions,” where AEW Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson teams up with Wheeler Yuta, one-third of the Trios champions, to face off against the other two-thirds, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC. Additionally, Mercedes Mone will defend both the AEW TBS Championship and the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Emi Sakura. Speculations suggest that Mone’s ally, Kamille, may intervene to ensure her victory.

In the tag team matchup, Danielson and Yuta will face Castagnoli and PAC, with rumors indicating that Moxley and Marina Shafir might play a pivotal role in Castagnoli and PAC’s success.

Bryan Danielson sought revenge after a confrontation at AEW Grand Slam, where Jon Moxley attacked him post-match. Recently, Danielson defeated Kazuchika Okada during AEW’s five-year anniversary show, but was soon ambushed by Moxley, Castagnoli, and PAC. Wheeler Yuta stepped in to challenge them for Title Tuesday.

In women’s action, former AEW Women’s Champions Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Willow Nightingale will compete for a chance to challenge Mariah May for the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW Wrestle Dream. Many expect Britt Baker to secure the victory and become the number one contender.

Additionally, Darby Allin and Brody King will confront each other ahead of their singles match at Wrestle Dream. Taz was recently found unconscious in the parking lot following an attack, and his son, HOOK, will be on the show to call out the assailant.
