Preview for WWE SmackDown – October 25, 2024

The October 25, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This marks the final episode of the blue brand for the month, featuring a star-studded lineup including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, and many more.

A highly anticipated conclusion to the historic series between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes was scheduled for last week’s episode. However, an altercation backstage led to the match being canceled, leaving them tied at 3-3 in their last six encounters. General Manager Nick Aldis has since announced that the match will take place this week, with current United States Champion LA Knight serving as the special guest referee.

Additionally, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known as the Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG), made their WWE debut last week. They triumphed in a Triple Threat tag team qualifying match and will now face the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa this week.

Cody Rhodes and WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther are set to clash for the inaugural Crown Jewel Title at the upcoming Crown Jewel 2024 event in Saudi Arabia. In anticipation of their showdown, Rhodes has invited Gunther for a face-off this Friday, a meeting that Gunther has confirmed he will attend.

Roman Reigns, dubbed “The Original Tribal Chief,” will also make his presence felt after being attacked by The Bloodline last week. He aims to take revenge on Solo Sikoa and the rogue faction, as he is confirmed for multiple SmackDown episodes this October and November.
